Recycling Event
The Mechanicsburg Earth Day Festival will feature a recycling event at several locations throughout the festival. We invite you to celebrate the earth with this opportunity to responsibly dispose of a host of items.

- Bicycles for all ages accepted at the Square– Operation Wildcat and Recycle Bicycle
- Hard Plastic Bottle Lids and Sprayer Bottle Tops – Penn-Cumberland Garden Club
- Toothbrushes, empty toothpaste containers, empty dental floss – Penn-Cumberland Club
- Ink Toner Cartridges – Simpson Public Library
- Eye Glasses – Mechanicsburg Lion’s Club
- USA Flags New or Used to be disposed properly– American Legion
- Crayons Used – The Rosemary House
- Cell Phones – American Legion
- Pharmaceuticals – Original containers but remove labels including names and prescription. Mech. Police Department
