Check Out Civil War & More Tonight!

We’re extremely happy to have a Civil War presence in the Downtown! Please help us welcome a local author, Cooper Wingert, by stopping into Civil War And More tonight from 6 to 9pm. If you can’t make it out tonight, no need to worry, because he’ll also be there from¬†11am to 2pm tomorrow.

There is a national release of Wingert’s new book, Slavery & the Underground Railroad in South Central Pennsylvania, and we are lucky enough to have him right in our backyard!¬†Civil War And More is located at 10 South Market Street in Downtown Mechanicsburg.

Music on the Corner Tonight!!

We are excited to announce that we will be starting a series of Music on the Corner for First Fridays! Tonight is the first night! Our artists tonight are By The Way. Here’s a short bio:

By The Way is a six piece “smooth jazz” and blues ensemble consisting of saxophone, keys, bass guitar, electric guitar, EWI (electronic wind instrument), and vocals. From songs such as Fly Me to the Moon, Summertime, People Get Ready, Sweet Home Chicago, to original tunes and arrangements, By The Way has pleased audiences at venues that include Jubilee Day, Kipona on City Island, Harrisburg Senators pregame music, non-profit gala events, and local establishments. We love to support and encourage the local community and organizations through live music.

They’ll be performing from 5:45pm to 7pm. Please help us welcome back Music on the Corner with By The Way!
